Animals

I love to create drawings using a minimal amount of lines to create a drawing that expressed a moment in time or a characteristic of a personality. Animals are great subjects for this. I don't plan the sketches, they start with a small notion and then pen hits the paper. Ink is not forgiving so I have to trust that the line I'm laying down will work. This forces me to commit to whatever happens and let go of the idea of perfection.
