Studying art in his early college career he was drawn to photography and sculpture. He finally settled in to focus his creativity on Industrial Design at Cal State Long Beach tapping into his natural skill working with three dimensional form. This was the perfect blend of art and problem solving.

As his careered took shape he continued to tap into his art roots and established a reputation for approaching design problems with a twist combining different influences and approaches. While his professional work was technical in nature  he never gave up his interest and passion in visual arts developing a passion for primitive outsider art which he collected and drew from for inspiration directly and indirectly. He also continued to paint, draw and photograph.

One thing that is common through out his work is a sense of humor. His drawings and sketches continue to serve as a source of fun, inventing personnas and situations done only for his own entertainment.
